Cycle Computer - spare magnets?

I recently made the mistake of parking my bike on Tottenham Court Road, where it appears that somebody tried to steal it, as the D-lock through the front wheel had been tampered with. Fortunately, it had held (it was during the day so any would-be thief would have had very little time to make off with the bike).

However, the thief did manage - I presume whilst fiddling with the lock - to snap the plastic casing of the magnet for my cycle computer, a Trek Incite 8i. I noticed before cycling off and was able to salvage the two sides of the casing that clip together, but the clip itself was broken so the magnet will no longer grip to the spoke. It is presently held on with a bit of masking tape.

Long and short of all that - I know that it is usually possible to get replacement parts, but does anyone know if it is possible to get a Trek-specific magnet? Alternatively, does anybody know if the "universal" magnets manufactured by, amongst others, Cateye, are compatible with the Trek system?

Cheers.

    Tesco's do a wired one for about £6 or wire-less for £14 I think.
  • I have never changed the spoke magnet. I am sure I have a spare one.

PM me and I will have a look.
