Hi Guys,
I have had my Genesis SS for a few months now and still very much loving it. I am loving it so much in fact, that I have ungraded rather a lot of it. Finishing kit, brakes, cranks and BB and carbon forks. Even if SS isn't your bag, you have to admit it looks rather nice 8)

nice bike, i run my park/street bike singlespeed, and i do love the simplicity of it and it's a lot of fun, wouldn't mind a go at XC riding on singlespeed too.0

needs some gears and 2 portions of suspension but apart from that its very beautiful looking0

Asthetically I prefer the original forks, is there realy much difference in ride/performance between them and the new carbon ones?0

ok i normoally hate rigid and single speed bikes. but you may have just converted me to liking them sortof. (converted someone who rides a full sus bike with 9.1" of bounce on the rear and 8" on the front is good going.) i like the look of it. is it light. bet it is simple to mantain....0

I have only just fitted the towel rail, I mean carbon forks so have yet to really test them out. I really bought them for their weight, or lack of it, more than anything. The bike currently weights 23lbs. I was hoping to get it lighter than that, but I don't plan on spending any more on it, so that will have to do.

hmm yeah that is light, though if i did a similar build (which i am thinking about), i'd want a suspension fork, rebas or something0
