DT swiss EX500! Are they the same as the 5.1D rim?

hey i bought a pair of hope hoops 5.1d and they finaly arrived but with EX500 rims o n instead? has this ever happened to anyone else or is the EX500 just the new version of 5.1d?

help would be very kind :D

    yup there the 5.1d's renamed for 2010 and ex400 being the 4.2
