  • I was watching Boro V Man City on live streams earlier today - half the Citeh fans got turned back by the police apparently, because of road conditions over the Pennines. It's not looking like cycling conditions just yet.

Quite a bit of snow in the North East again today. Haven't been out on the bike for 3 weeks now due to the conditions :( .

Can't even get the car out at present. I'd get to the bottom of my drive and once I got on to the public road I'd be stuck - haven't seen a gritter since 30th Dec. A local farmer cleared the road yesterday with his tractor but nothing today. Still snowing.

blimey they have a big squad
  • still bitingly cold and lots of lying snow in Oldham, roads haven't seen grit and the sludge on them was getting very hard and slippy before dusk. -1 is the best its got all day.

really not looking forward to riding to work tomorrow, I'd rather have fresh snow my tyres can get a grip in.
