I have a specialized stumpjumper ht expert - and it says in the spec that the tyres are "tubeless ready":

Tyres: S-Works Fast Trak LK, 26x2.0", 120 TPI, tubeless ready aramid bead, dual compound
Rims: Custom DT Swiss X420SL, 24mm w/ eyelets, 28/32h

What does the tubeless ready mean? Does it just mean the tyres are compatible?

What do i need to buy to remove the inner tubes?

Thanks

And it means that the tyres can be used tubeless. You need to have a special rim strip plus the sealant.

Generally it means that the tyres have a better bead/sidewalls to aid with a tubeless conversion. You'll still need a kit, although it's worth checking to see if your wheels already have the correct rim strip (I know Trek do this with their more expensive bikes).

Spec's can be changed without notice..have a look on the tyre to see if it says '2bliss', if it does all you need it the correct rimstrip for your rims to make it all nice and air tight (if they are not already) and some sealant..I have the same tyres for summer use.
