tubeless ready

I have a specialized stumpjumper ht expert - and it says in the spec that the tyres are "tubeless ready":
Tyres: S-Works Fast Trak LK, 26x2.0", 120 TPI, tubeless ready aramid bead, dual compound
Rims: Custom DT Swiss X420SL, 24mm w/ eyelets, 28/32h
What does the tubeless ready mean? Does it just mean the tyres are compatible?
What do i need to buy to remove the inner tubes?
Thanks

Generally it means that the tyres have a better bead/sidewalls to aid with a tubeless conversion. You'll still need a kit, although it's worth checking to see if your wheels already have the correct rim strip (I know Trek do this with their more expensive bikes).0
