Guessing this is insurance replacment, hence being stuck to one vendor, and a limited choice.
Legally speaking, if this is the case, you are entitled to a cash payment rether than replacement bike. Worth talking to your insurance company. If you've accepted a replacment bike, of the bunch listed above, I'd go with the Dawes, V brake or disc depending on budget. If you're not great with the spanners, factor in £30-£40 for a shop to set the bike up for you, it's worth it in the long run.
    Good luck!
  • Thanks for the advice. I am stuck to this website. My folks got me a hybrid bike for Christmas thinking I could use it off road, like a mountain bike, as well as on road. They can return it, but only as a replacement
  • would go for the freeride AT30 if it was me :?
