My (late) present from Mrs Squill arrived yesterday. Very nice as well, but I have noticed on one side the saddle is coming away from the carbon.

I emailed PX who advised I can send it back, but wanted to know if I need to, and if it is classes a faulty product? Or will it make no difference?

As you can see the carbon looks a little bowed, where the other side looks like this:

What you think?

I think after you've thrown it down the road a couple of times, you won't even notice such a minor lack of symmetry....
  • But it wont break will it?
  • That bit of the saddle is non-structural, it's just a screwed on bit of comestic stuff.

Mine is exactly the same. Not ar5ed in the least!
  • I wont bother sending it back then, I was more concerned with it affecting the structural strength of the saddle. If this is not the case and its just cosmetic then I can live with it.
