    2 pairs.

One pair of billy-basic shimano for training commuting/winter.
One pair of Ventour blingy silver and carbon for Summer and racing.

I'd like more, but unfortunately these are still working well.

None! I don't use cleated shoes for cycling!

I want to be able to move my foot off the pedal as quickly as possible if need be in an emergency type of situation. Unclipping cleated shoes from pedals takes just a bit longer. Not comfortable with the extra time taken (albeit maybe a fraction of a second) to remove cleated shoes off pedals.

I'm thinking you can measure how seriously you're into a sport by how much footwear you've got for it... I've got 4 pairs of swimming goggles too...

    Cheers, Andy

I had this very conversation with my wife last week when I accused her of having to many shoes and she then pointed out :-
    1 x road shoes
    1 x mtb shoes
    1 x indoor football boots
    1 x football boots
    1 x climbing shoes
    1 x skiing boots
    3 x walking boots
    2 x running shoes
    2 x cricket shoes
    2 x golfing shoes

    I agreed to shut up

Three pairs of shoes, but eight pair of pedals (between two bikes).
  • After a quick count I've got 22 pairs.

  • 3. one with more tread than the other for weather like this and muddy days one for regualr use and one old well worn pair lying in a cupboard just in case.(minus spd cleats, insoles and only 1 lace between them)
