Cycleways via parks = drunks & broken bottles = puncture

Yet again this morning. Only place I ever seem to puncture. Can we have a tax on those splinter shattered beer bottles to subsidise the cost of inner tubes.
My last gripe of 2009.

  • I used to pass a drunk whenever I was on the afternoon shift. Usually - no, almost always - he was the friendliest person I passed on my ride in - we'd always share a quick cheerful hello. Real drunks can't afford glass bottles - it's plastic bottles of cider (useful for tyre boots) or cans. So I'd blame that effing fairy...

    One of my main reason for sticking to the roads.

    Along with dogs running loose.

    Much safer on the road :shock:
