decent riding spots in or around the solihull area?

I've been riding for about 1 and a half years and as im only 13 i have to hitch a ride with my dad. THere are 2 problems
1.)my dad isnt that into mountain biking
2.) Our nearest routes are forest of dean or cannock chase both of which are over an hour away.
does anyone know of a decent riding spot in or around the solihull area.

    There is Ribbesford DH to your W. I believe there is some XC stuff there as well, but it is still too far for you to cycle to. It is closer than Cannock Chase though.

    Have you checked out the parks closer to you? I bet Elmdon or Brueton Park has some stuff around (if you're allowed to cycle there).

    i have tried elmdon and found a small wooded area with a little hill runnthrough it. However there is nothing there to challenge me so was wondering whether it would be legal to build maybe a few jumps or something.
