    May change my mind about the Evans sportive and go for the Road event instead of the MTB - or possibly both on the same bike ? Don't think Mrs JW will give me licence for two days on the trot :wink:

    I'm doing the road event, not sure of the distance yet that will depend on the conditions, 10th Jan is looking bloody cold ATM

    Only downside are the tyres which are Conti Speedkings 700x35 - need to swap for something a little less knobbly I think
