£83.20 for a set of Julies with 180/160 discs on Merlin just now, that seems good... I only used them a wee bit but I liked them a lot (says something that Cotic chose to put them on their demo bikes, which were otherwise plastered with XT and other hotness to show off the frames).
Do the elixirs need the special bleed kit? Hmm, actually, do the Julies? That adds a few notes on.Uncompromising extremist0 -
The Elixir brakes are great IMO, so if that's within budget you could do a lot worse.
I believe they do need the specific bleed kit Northwind mentions though (not needed to bleed mine yet).0 -
