Is there a bike computer on the market that will also display cadence in BIG DIGITS?
Most that I've seen have the cadence in smaller digits, and being long sighted I just can't read these small secondary digits. Any recommendations?

Edge 705 can be set to have one item on the display then you can set the option of what you want on that single item display.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • the boardman 22 function computer i picked up when i went to get my bike at the start of summer has cadence in big numbers and speed slightly smaller. I prefer it this way, cause when going into a head wind your speed will drop but to get the most out of training its useful to know cadence.

    its was about 40quid.

That looked perfect Matt, but unfortunately the user reviews that I've seen, on Bikeradar in particular, don't seem that complimentary.
    Help... any other suggestions?

edit: cadence in small digits.
  • If you can get hold of one of these (discontinued) you're sorted as you can change the large digits to show cadence all the time.

Looks perfect, but no retailers seem to have them.
I may have to dig deep and get the new Polar CS500 when it comes out. Am I the only person that can't read small digits?

Have a look at the Mavic Wintech - I need reading glasses but can see the display on this item, one of the points i was looking for in a computer

but 4.5 stars isnt bad. I only got it cause id tried a cat eye one on my boardman and the shape of the forks meant it wasn't always making a good speedo connection with the magnet, so replaced that with a safer bet, by the same manufacturer of the bike. I have had no issues other than having to replace the batteries pretty soon. but since then its lasted till now about 10months.

I think what alot of people have said in comments to that computer may be down to set up issues, and not thinking the problem through, Initally mine didnt work out the box, rang halfords and they said they sometimes spend so long on a shelf the batteries in them die, replaced, jobs a good un!

    Id still recommend it.
