Managed to drive my car under a bridge with my bike attached and managed to smash the top of the gears shifters . Amazingly the gears still work but the little window at the top which shows what gear you are in is totally smashed . Any idea if you can buy these on there own as they are only held in with a couple of screws.

Could have been a lot worse but feel a complete knob.

You are a pleb arent you? lol ;) You arent the first and won't be the last :(

You can remove the windows and fit blanking plates on xt shifters. Have no idea if they (shimano) will supply replacement windows though.

the later type xt shifters have the blanking plates on the shifter, if you remove shifter from bars you will see it, says "shimano xt" on it s a round disc with a hole for the retaing screw.
