whats that bike?

on page 161 of this months mbuk sam hill can be seen pushing a bike along, can anyone identify it, it looks like it might be a small sx trail but with an air shock and 120mm fork.

looks cool and i want one.

i think its a spesh sx, not a trail, its got 4inch of travel, basically a cut down sx trail, they've made em based on the enduro for ages, but for reason they're not available over here

well spotted.

looks like a cool idea, not sure what itd be like for normal riding, its meant to be a slopestyle bike but it looks like itd be ace for 4x type stuff.

Don't Giant do something similar that they don't sell over here either :? Don't they call them 'Park' bikes? Maybe there's no market for them? (apart from sheepsteeth obviously)

North America is supposed to be getting a Giant SX early in the year. It's more of a freeride bike though, similar to the Spech SX Trail.

They're often called park bikes here, as I guess people expect to use them at the various mountain bike parks

why not see if you can import one,, or use it as a good excuse to get yourself a hol to the states and get one...

i got my self a specialized demo 7 2 in whislter, at the end of last season you cant get them over here,, see how much it would cost to ship one over, or try spesh concept store see if they can get you one.

states would be cheaper, alot cheaper.

With the exchange rate, it's not such a bargain anymore.

Back in '06 it would have been cheaper to fly to NYC, with a new bike bag, and a disposable BSO (to be left behind to fool the customs guys) to buy my Spesh Endruo, have 4 days there and fly back.

Not any more.

true exchange rates has gone to shit recently,, but you still can save money..

i got my demo at a really cheap price amost cost they only made $80 profit on it.

it was the end of the season though when all the shops try to shift their stock for winter season..
