Go Pro HD SD Card

Just recieved my new Go Pro HD but need SD Card help!

Can you guys tell me if I need to format the SD card first
before using the Go Pro HD, as I cant find the info on this.
Or can I just put in a new card without formating.

    I didn't have to format any of mine for the old Helmet Hero. Just fire it in, it'll work or it won't ;)
