Cycling Club - Basingstoke Area - Assitance needed

Can anyone please recommend from personal experience a friendly road club / informal group in the Basingstoke area that offers something for a range of capabilities?

CC Basingstoke might also be worth a look. Not sure if the Calleva club is still going, but if so, they might be worth a look as well...

North Hampshire Road Club - http://www.nhrc.co.uk. Used to be a member years & years ago. Always friendly and wide range of activities. Monday night is club night, meeting at Monk Sherborne village hall.

CCBasingstoke were always focused on racing.

Think Calleva are now defunct but PedalOn (in Tadley) run a team (used to be mainly mountain biking but I believe now do road too - website needs updating if that's correct - http://www.pedalon.co.uk/acatalog/racing2.html). Shop's also one of the best in the area.

North Hants RC is a great club with a friendly Sunday ride and a full agenda of Time Trials. If you like TTs, Sportives and soical rides then this is the club to join.

CC Basingstoke is focused on Road Racing and if this is your interest then this is the club to join as it will help you develop as a rider - if you need it.

Have been out with CCB a couple of times as they have a second group most Sundays which is more of a social ride.
