Updated.. admittedly, not much has changed, but we never need an excuse to show our bikes off, see below!
Before
Now (complete with road dust)
Spec:
2008 Marin Mount Vison
2009 Rock Shox Revelation 426 Dual Airs (140mm, QR)
Fox RP23 rear shock (120mm)
Hope Pro2 hubs on Mavic X317 Rims
Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.1 Tyres
Red Hope QR Skewers
Avid Juicy Carbon discs, 180/160mm a2z rotors
FSA carbon setback Seatpost
FSA stem, 6deg, 100mm, carbon faceplate
XT groupset (cranks, mechs, shifters)
SRAM PC991 Chain
Answer Pro Carbon OS bars
Specialised saddle
Superstar Grips
Da Bomb camo flats
FSA headset
Mucky Nutz fender bender (opaque)
1997 Kona Hahanna:
Got this off ebay recently, cleaned it up to use as a dual/tri purpose bike.. I wanted something cheap and easy for commuting to work, but also something that the o/h can use on occasions, hence the smaller frame choice!
Before:
Now:
Spec:
Kona steel frame
Project 2 forks
Deore V brakes
easton ea70 Monkey bars
Hutchinson Toro XC tyres (2.1)
SRAM gripshift (awful!)
WTB thinline saddle
Nothing much more to mention!!
I've got a few changes for the Kona.. firstly, a new seatpost (the one in the pic was stuck in, so is a bit damaged from getting it unstuck!) then, 7 speed rapidfire shifters, new rear cassette and a new headset, and I'll be happy with it
I'm chuffed with both, sorry for the massive post (thats why the small pics!)! Hope you like, I do

Thanks for the comments guys
Freeride-mike - I agree, it looks lovely in white... but, imagine how often I have to clean it to keep it looking that way!!
It's only a thought at the moment, I'd spend cash on upgrades first before any paintjobs, so if it did happen, it wouldn't be for ages (probably when it's looking a bit sorry for itself)!0 -
