what is the diff between quoted light output in lux and lummens
for example a sigma powerled black pro is quoted as 90 lux, this seems v bright when i use it, but my RSP asteri 6 is quoted as 400 lumens both are bright enough but which is the brightest according to these quoted figs
ie 1 Lux == how many lummens

This is described in the What Lights thread in the buying section.
Basically there is no direct comparison as other factors are needed for the conversion. Lumens is the total light emitted, while lux is the brightness from a reflected surface. So the beam angle and distance effects the brightness.0
