Routes around Paignton, Devon

Will be going to Devon for a few days over Christmas to stay with the outlaws in Paignton. I know the countryside around there fairly well but have never cycled there - dog walking only really.
Anyone know of any good routes in the Torbay area? I would rather cycle from the house rather than have to drive as no doubt I will only be allowed to escape for 2-3 hours?!

Start is about 3 miles from Paignton and the countryside is great.
