I told the owner of the bike shop that I had ordered a Ribble Sportive and he laughed and said "oh well you get what you pay for, see you in 6 months for a replacement, you will need it."

Just bitterness and some lovely roadie snobbery. A lot of people with the Sportives, and yet to hear of one that has 'needed replacing'.

well, over 2 month ago i found a crack around the bottom bracket area of mine, also lots of paint coming of and even a layer of carbon around the forks.

i still havnt got a replacment frame they are saying they have non e in stock, and have said this for ages, and when i asked for my money back they were having none of it.

    still without a frame....

the quality of the carbon is very shoddy, if i was to buy another carbon frame of ribble it would have to be one made with dedicia carbon as the sportive is pritty lame tbh...

I got the photos yes thanks. Hard to tell as they are so out of focus.
  • Ribble now only selling / taking orders for the Gran Fondo as a full bike, they won`t sell the frame on its own due to "limited supply" and therefore full bikes only

    Back to the drawing board.
