*new pics further down*
Well... here are the pics you've been waiting for!!
Its up and rolling but the BB is shot.... Have to say though, its a bloody good ride for £80.
The brake is.... interesting...
The fork is bloody BRILLIANT though. miles better than I expected. A tad flexy but nice and plush considering its 8 years old and probably never had a service
Oh, and its liiiiiiiiggghhhhttt! Very very very light!
Anyways... (FYI, there is a step on the right side of the photo, so the bike angles may look a tad off).

aye they were used as trials frames by the pro's in the late/mid 90's.
No idea how old the frame is.... the forks are 2002, but are aftermarket IIRC.
The frame is from when Saracen used to make good stuff0 -
just got my rear brake through
Not bad at all!
Also fitted a new BB, seat and chain tensioner. Its a rite good laugh to ride0 -
Looks rather retro, does it feel like you're lugging a Taiwanese steel factory around with you?0

but use the term commuting very lightly... I'm gonna play about on the way to work0 -
here we go...
new stroker trail brake, new seat and some tyres = a bike
I think it looks pretty smart now its all together.
New wheels needed eventually and a front brake and that'll do!
Need to get it weighed though, I can't believe how light the thing is!0 -

Just thought... what the hells going on with the brake cable have to get that re routed methinks!0 -
Nothing wrong with it. It's in keeping with the rest of it. 8)0

Yeah, that rear cable is... interesting! Get some bar end plugs in it if you're going to have a play by the way, low speed trials style cookie cutter incidents are never good!0
