Stumpjumper Expert custom build up just completed

Bought a mint 08 Stumpjumper FSR Elite frame last weekend and just finished building it up. Some of the parts are from my 07 Stumpjumper which I've stripped down, the wheels and drivetrain are all new. Forks were nearly new off ebay.







Frame: 08 Stumpjumper FSR Expert with Brain shock
Fork: RS Reba Team, 120mm travel with poploc and Maxle lite
Wheels: Hope Hoops, Pro2 hubs DT XR400 rims
Full Deore XT drivetrain - chainset, mechs, BB, shifters
Brakes: Hope Tech M4, 183mm front, 160mm rear
Thomson seatpost, SDG saddle, Easton Monkey Lite mid-rise bars
Hope headset

I haven't really had much of chance to test it out yet due to snow on the hills, but first impressions are pretty good. With the Brain set at 3/4 turn out from full it gives a nice firm ride without any bob when spinning in the saddle, and it still soaks up the bumps on the rough.[/img]

yeah he's my riding buddy, i was in his garage fixing my bike when you turned up! got a good deal mate, he's hardly ridden it! nice build, got some good kit on that!

nice bike, and nice to see a custom built full sus on here, makes a change from all the out-of-box-boardmans. Excellent choices of kit!

Very frustrated at the moment.
Been off work all week and haven't been able to get a decent ride in yet due to the weather. Went up onto the Peaks on tuesday and would have been better off with a pair of skis.
Hoping things clear up this week so I can get at least one decent ride in before going back to work.
