Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the Schwalbe Durano tyres.

Also, as my rim width is 18mm, what's the widest tyre I could use for winter riding? The 700x28 is very favourably priced as you can see but would the rims take it or not?

They're the replacements for the Stelvio Raceguards which are held by many in good regard - I've got 2 pairs in my garage waiting to be fitted. Apparently, it takes a few rides to improve the grip but they're pretty durable.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Well that goes for any tyres - I've noticed this particularly if I just replace the rear as I did with my Ultremo's towards the back end of the summer season.

Would I be best with 25mm tyres for winter or would the 28mm be more practical (if indeed they would fit?)
