have you tried googling it..?0

Sure but it pretty expensive just for a small 150ml tube. I was hoping if anyone knew a cheaper alternative outside the usual bike outlets, used in other industries.0

I don't know about that particular kind, but quality grease which is more than good enough for bike applications is cheap in any motor factors. Buy a tub once and it'll do you for life, more or less.0

castrol.0

Like others have said, Castrol LM grease - about a fiver for a 1/2kilo drum from your local motor parts shop.0

I grab some of the Castrol LM or CL then. Thanks
I settle on some of this also which has the good stuff in it, PTFE.

I got hold of a tin of copper grease from a Halfords the other day, a 20g tube was about £3.50, price per kilo quoted as £174.50.
Next to it was the same grease in a half kilo tub, at £7.99 pice per kilo of £15.98!
I got the half kilo, I mean why would you buy the 20g?Complicating matters since 19650 -

Another good thing about the 500g tubs is that they make good doorstops, although your better half might not approve.0

In Halford's multi-purpose lithium grease is 5.69. The exact same grease is in Wilkinson's discount store for £2.50. So i couldn't resist. . Few days earlier i had got Polylube 1000 for £6 from LBS lol. My headset is happy.0
