Hi

Anybody got a pair of these yet ?

Considering some super bibs for next year and these are in the running along with Mavic Infinity, Sportful Total Comfort and Assos Mille (local shop has these in 2007 model with orange insert, any opinions over current model ? They have quite a few in medium only and I'm hoping they'll do a deal if I have a couple of pairs).
Previously had Santini's but fancy a change.
I like them with a low waist and a good pad are my main criteria.
I've seen all for around £100 mark which is my approximate budget
Any others I should consider or experiences of the above appreciated.

  • did Lands End to J.O.G. this summer, 9 days averaging 112miles per day. Used 2 pairs of Assos bib shorts, some F1 Millie with the new s5 pad in and an older pair I've had a while, can't remember which ones.

Anyway no sores, no anything, really comfortable so my advice would be if they are in your budget range go for the Assos every time.

The orange insert ie the Assos S2 pad is wonderful and supremely comfortable. Recommended.

Please let us know where you can get these from Galatzo ...

Been impressed with the Sportful shorts we got as team kit this year - far better than the likes of Nalini, Biemme and Northwave I've had before and the gap in quality, fit and comfort is closing in on the likes of Assos
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Giant mancp

Sheffield Cycles have at least half a dozen pairs of the Assos Mille 2007 with the orange pad in black with a simall silver grey flash on the fromnt Size Medium only from what I saw and definetly no larges or I may have had some.

I've stuck with Santini and got some Genesis One from CRC for £40 !
I've actually ordered 3 pairs in total for £120, same price as 1 pair Assos Uno's.
GBCyles are selling the same in the sale for £100ish reduced from £150
