Hi there, need some advice on Bike GPS units. Anyone had any experience on either the Memory map adventurer 2800 or the Garmin 605, 705. Looking to buy my first unit and not sure which one is the better model

You'll get better advice if you say what you intend to use it for. Is it for navigation only or navigation and training? And do you plan to use it on tour?

If its for training as well then the Edge 705 as above.

If its for navigating on tour then any GPS that takes AA batteries (Vista/Legend HCx).
