Bored now...

Left the office at 3pm to cross business park to pick up my 12-month son and head home down M3. Am now back in office having failed to get out of park as traffic was at a standstill - having done less than a mile in four hours - and just got little one to sleep.

How come two and a half inches of snow reduces us the country to chaos?

Any one else stuck at work? (hopefully without baby.)

he's sound asleep at the moment...was lucky to have something to feed him and the nursery gave me bottle 'just in case'. Aim to try to make a run for it at sometime, but want to avoid nightmare scenario of being stuck on motorway with him in the back.

local radio makes Basingstoke sound totally gridlocked.

I hear things are pretty grim elsewhere , Italy for example , though I'm sure that's little compensation to you.

There's no snow at all here in Cheltenham! Everyone is still managing to panic about it though! Off to my parents house tomorrow though near Reading which is apparently covered in snow so I might get the sled out and try and get our husky to be a sled dog
