TIME Cleats

I'm after some advice please.
Currently I am using Time Xen pedals which I quite like. I have just bought a new bike and was wondering if my cleats for the Xens is the same as for Time RXS' so I can use the same cleat shoe combination for both bikes without changing cleats over or buying new shoes.
Having to buy the majority of my equipment from of the internet, I want to make sure.
I have asked this same question to a shop on the net but they replied that the XEN uses a cleat similiar to an SPD! Having SPDs and Xens I know this is definitely wrong.
One more question, if I do go for the RXS' (if cleats being the same) better than my Xen pedals or not? The reason I'm considering going to the RXS is just due to the weight, the RXS being lighter.
Any thoughts answers much appreciated....

cleats for Xen and RXS are the same. The shop is probably confusing the road cleats with Time's ATAC off road system, which is more like Shimano's SPD.....but better...
RXS and Xen pedals are functionally the same. As far as I'm aware, the difference is all in the weight...0 -
RX series cleats are compatible - along with the older Impact ones too.
I have no experience of the Xen pedals, but the RX series is a good quality, real-world durable pedal systems - I can typically get 4 years out of a pair of cleats, unlike Look or SPD-SL which can wear out in a matter of months.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0 -
Hey thanks softlad and Monty Dog for the info, looks like I can go ahead and purchase the RXS' then.
Now I can understand how the shop got confused with the SPDs cleats and the Xen (ATAC), seeing as they look nowt like each other.
I guess I may be seeing you around the lanes softlad what with living so close.
