Some of those people are proper, certified, 100%, full-on nut jobs.
It's not really one in the eye for Mr Cowell though as he's still made just as much money off this Joe chap as he would have before. All the same people bought the single that would have normally bought it, and probably a few more too. Plus he's made a small fortune off another single that without this campaign would have possibly done fkall.
Plus there's all the free publicity, millions of quids worth of free advertising for 2 acts he has a vested interest in.
All that said and done though, cracking result! Never thought it'd work.0 -

Now I'm a HUGE Rage fan, I love their music, generally strongly agree with their socio-political stance and I do think it's properly funny that they have got to Christmas number 1.
