Turbo trainer generator

Wouldnt it be good to have a turbo trainer which was also a generator that while you were pounding away you could keep your TV going, etc.
There was that TV prog the other day where there was a power station of 80 cyclists keeping one family's house powered, so I dont suppose you could generate that much.
I guess to have a generator which would at least charge some batteries, would be good, would it be so expensive as to be impractical?. I like the idea of doing something useful with my turbo sessions.

Now this seems like a good idea, even if it takes ages to charge something it's better than wasted energy 8)winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg
