Cold weather

Something very strange happened yesterday. I went out for a winter ride in the snow (great day) obviously i got very cold. When i got back to the house the heating was on full and i brought my bike and gear in. After about ten minutes i noticed a strange noise coming from my bike. I went for a closer look and my rear tube just flatted in front of me.
The tube was fully inflated seconds before. :?
Could this have something to do with the change of temperature :?:
I will take the wheel of for a closer look later.

It's probably down to a little known phenomenon called a "puncture"... :shock:0

when air gets hot it expands, if the tube was cold and pretty well inflated it could have overinflated when it warmed up.
I doubt this though.0
