Just been looking around at some road cycling shoes. Would anyone recommend these for the price?

  • m8 you need to try them on, shoes are a funny old thing, you may be in these bad boys for hours at a time they need to feel right on your feet, who cares what we think, just try loads on, the shoe will speak to you;
  • Just wondering if anyone has experience of these brands. Does anyone have a preference for one particular brand? What is the quality like? How durable are they generally?

I've got Diadora Proracers, have been great shoes. But as said above, most important thing is that they fit you properly!

I use Lake shoes very comfortable after you take them out of the microwave and fit a lot better than my Shimanos or Spesh.

And yes you did read correctly, microwave them to soften the Kangaroo leather, put them on with your normal socks or whatever you wear and the leather then shrinks back and provides a very nice and snug fit without being at all tight.

    Very well made, highly recommend
