Whats the best tyre for glentress in winter and for summer?

Im bamboozled by choice and dont want an expensive mistake can any scottish mtb vets advise?

Glentress can get wet and a tad slippy but it drains very very well.
I'd be inclined to say that a middle of the park all round tyre would be great for the majority of conditions there.

My Maxxis High Roller XC 2.1's have never set a foot wrong there in all the times i've been there. Good old Fire XC's when it gets sloppy.
