Help setting up Organised ride

I am considering setting up a charity ride connecting the various sites of the company I work for in the South West UK.
Just getting feelers out now, any advice as to what I need to consider????

Availablity of water/food/mechanical assistance at each stop

Have an easy 10 mile option as well as a more difficult longer route
