Shed security

I remember reading a topic on Bikeradar where it gave advice on setting up a rape alarm as a home made security device. I can't seem to find it anywhere though!
I’ve found both articles on toughening up shed security but cant find that specific bit.
Any ideas anyone?

Hey you can try these. They`re pretty good - fecking loud. Check with your local police cos our local coppers are selling the very same locks for a tenner each - I`ve just bought three.

Cheers for that mate,
I was thinking about the rape alarm though because the way I remember it being set up was quite sneaky. Just bought a new house with room for a decent shed in the back garden. Might go for one of these instead though..

nail on an angle on the shed door. rape alarm on the side or above the door..
when door is closed hook the pin thing(the bit that activates the alarm) round the nail,,
so when some unsuspecting person opens the door the cord pulls the pin out and triggers the alarm...www.bearbackbiking.com

As a keen airsofter (and obviously MTB'er) with a stash load of 12g blanks I use a few of these http://www.airsoftworld.net/pyrotechnic ... e-12g.html
Sod the rape alarm, when these go off everyone knows about it in a half mile distance and anyone who tries to break in will most likely be running away fast (once they've steadied their head after a 165db blast)0
