Any advice please, Cube Aerial or Trek1.2 as a starter bike?
Please help, new to this game but I want to upgrade from a hybrid to a road bike. Can any one recommend a good road bike@£700?

    One thought, I think the Trek 1.2 takes mudguards and can also take a rack (has mounts and clearance) (my g/f has toured on one), so if you want to commute/ride in the winter, or even tour, the Trek would be more versatile.

    It depends what style of bike you are after really. Scott fo the Speedster S40 for £700 or you could go for a Ridgeback Horizon. The latter is more of a winter training bike.

    went to quinns in liverpool and they helped me chose the trek, it felt better than the others, advice re mudguards was a top tip.
