Not my strong suit this so apols if a daft question.
Will I REALLY notice the difference in geometry between the following 2 (both good quality carbon)
headtube / eff toptube / whbase / st angle / ht angle
A: 149 / 534 / 982 / 73.7 / 71.9
B: 147 / 540 / 976 / 74 / 73
Thanks in advance.

I doubt it.
The extra top tube distance (6mm) and slightly greater seat tube angle will make B feel a tad longer, but you should be able to adjust for this with your stem length. For example B may feel best with a 110mm stem, whereas A with a 120mm. A will subsequently steer a tad slower (slacker head angle and longer stem) but, again, you'll be hard pressed to tell.
Headtubes are 2mm different. That's not even half a 5mm spacer.
As long as a (approx) 540mm top tube suits your body, then either should be fine.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0
