...and the south east shudders to a halt.

it's a good thing that the 2012 olympics will be held in August...

  • Too right. And Cumbria, eh? What was that all about? A few drops of rain ffs.

9.54am and I just got home. Having left work at 6.45pm last night.
Making a cup of coffee is like making love to a beautiful woman. It's got to be hot. You've got to take your time. You've got to stir... gently and firmly. You've got to grind your beans until they squeak.
And then you put in the milk.

It has just taken me 3 hours to drive the 26 miles to work.

It's a new job. Trying to make a good impression! I'm pretty gutted though - only one other person in my team made it in. One woman hasn't come in and she WALKS to work!!
  • Bunch of Jessies!

I made the 20 mile commute today quite a bit slower than usual at 1:36 but it was fun.

Nothing like riding happily past a bus that's stuck spinning in the snow. May have to put the CX tyres on though. Skinny slicks just don't seem to grip so well in 3 inches of snow. Go figure  .

Anyone in Yorkshire? What's the snow like there? I heard it's going to be bad on Friday and Saturday, knowing my luck the M62 will get shut and I won't be going home.

And that just about sums up what is wrong with this pathetic Country
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

Just yesterday, I had a safety e-mail roudn from on high telling everybody that walking and using a mobile was dangerous and anybody doing it on the site could expect to be challenged. How this country ever won a war is beyond me.

It's not too bad I'm in Leeds and there is nothing more than a light covering. The M62 up by Halifax might be tricky though depending on what happens tonight. I think it is fine now though.

I think the further easy you go the worse it is supposed to get.

I can vouch it's pretty bad in Cambridgeshire.
Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.

Hawaiian shorts and flip flops. Might take a vest just in case.

That wouldn't be unusual round here. Kids would still go to school - I'd still go to work. Might take a bit longer - but not that much.

    Nice garden by the way.

Everything seems to be running fine in this particular bit of the south east - I came in from Kent today - everything running fine - not that much snow unless you head deeper into Kent. Everyone was at work today as normal.

It shows what this country has come to.What are the goverment doing? How could they let it snow like this.African goverments seem to be on top of this problem,we could learn from them for a change!
