These guards look really good on this bike! I have yet to take it out for a spin to test them, but if they work as well as they look I will be well chuffed :)

SRAM Red is quality. I have had Rival for over a year on my other bike and am very pleased with it.

Nice bike by the way :)

  • Not yet, but it's on the top of my list for 2010.
  • Will you be riding this over winter?

I'm going to give it a test run but won't be using it fully until around about March. I have a MTB and another road bike. I am looking at selling my other road bike and getting an alloy jobbie as a winter hack.

hahaha. as you have probably noticed i normally live in the mtb section as i ride dh. but this is trully amazing.
  • Thanks for your comments. I started off on mountain bikes and still ride mine often. I find road riding compliments my mountain biking. I do XC as am not to hot at DH!

I commute from Wrexham to Chester on the bike when possible, I go mountain Biking to Llandegla and the Marin Trail mainly but now and again go to Coed-Y-Brenin.

As for road riding I go where ever I please!

i have been to north wales. but nahhh. i get over taken by you thin tyre lot all the time.:lol: makes me sad i cant go that fast on the tarmack.
  • I was always quite quick going uphill on the Mtb so thought I would have a crack at road riding. My preference is swaying towards road at the minute but mountain biking is still great fun :D
  • Give it time, you will turn to the dark side sooner or later. You'll be shaving your legs come the spring!

Oh, nice plastic bike by the way
  • Tis a lush bike you have there, have you got any more pics??

It's nice to see another mtb'er come over to the road ( I myself being one, I came 'out' in Feb this year after 17yrs off purely mountain biking).

From what I can make out, I think ex (or soon to ex  ) mtb'ers have a canny eye for what looks good (naming epo / Rich-Ti et al).

    Good work :D

    Fcking amazing bike!

and this is the first time I've heard of your bike shop, which is only 10 mins away from me.

Its got all my fave bits on it - SRAM groupo, Ritchey finishing kit and Mavic Wheelset. The wheels are an engineering marvel :)

As for the shop it's only just opened so that may be why you have not heard of it
