do those chain cleaners work more than once? i've never bought one because i'd expect its filthy after one use and becomes pointless

if you mean the geared ones with a solvent case you just rinse them out when your done.the bristles are like a toothbrush so dont absorb any dirt. you wont get it any cleaner while the chain is on the bike. only takes 2 minutes as well.i use one of these with parafin

pbk did a good deal on the park one, with the extras, and 10% off code "xmas"

Cheaper than the cleaner on its own!

dont waste money on cleaner. you can get 5 litres of parrafin at petrol stations for about £5 and lasts ages.

^ yep. I use thinners - if you go to a car paint suppliers they will sell you a 5 litre can for sod all. It *could* damage your paint though (takes spray paint right off) so be careful how you use it.

Also, the most powerful degreaser known to man is automotive brake cleaner. That stuff melts through plastic gloves

How about GPS's???? For some reason these don't make much sense on a bike(at least to me). Although as I get older and more confused in this life I could see the value in something that told me how to get home. Only problem is, remembering how to work the damn thing. Or remembering what it was for in the first place.
  • White bar tape. Used it for one season. Never again. We all need bartape, but not white.
  • Caps for presta valves.

    White tires.
