Mount keen isn't too far away. it's is a bit of a push up but is good fun coming down!0

pitfichie is less then 1 hour away, its ok, a bit short, nothing special to be honest... but as said before, you could easy go to glentress and innerleithin..

Check the routes on the neeps website http://www.ecurieneep.co.uk/ more Aberdeen based but some stuff further south. For an hours drive Swanley and Kerloch are fantastic.0

Did you do this one in Sept? I met a lad on a cove at the top- I was on SC superlight, wearing shorts and soaked?

I live there and I've uploaded some routes an www.bikehike.co.uk if you want to search the maps- it's handy if you want something local without having to drive anywhere in the car although it won't be up to the standards of the nearby cairngorms or trail centres. On the plus side, it won't be as cold or covered in snow.0
