Ordered pair of Sealskinz gloves after recommendation from someone on this forum. Ordered them on the morning of 1st December. Phoned them on the 3rd asking when they would be dispatched & they said the next day. That will do I thought.

Anyway yesterday they still hadn't turned up. Despite me sending emails which were constantly ignored they still hadn't dispatched them when I phoned yesterday so I canceled em.

Now maybe I have been spoilt dealing mainly with the likes of Merlin CRC & Wiggle and getting goods delivered within 2-3 days, but does anyone else think this time scale is taking the Michael?

Rant over. For now. & I still dont have a new pair of gloves :evil:

    Nah, two weeks is somewhat taking the Michael, unless they`re coming from China.

    It takes a while to figure out which online shops actually have the stuff in stock and those whose website is basically stuff they could get if they ordered it from the distributors - after they've received your order.

    Royal Mail are crap at the moment as well, once dispatched some things were taking a week to get go me unless I paid extra for the garanteed next day delivery.

    And... I wasn't too happy with my sealskin gloves (love the winter socks though), getting in and out of then was a nightmare, especially with wet hands, lining came out in the end. I am however muchus pleased with the Gore Bike wear cross gloves I bought to replace them, toasty!

    It's easy enough to walk into any shop and buy yourself Gloves


    I bought a cheapo pair out of argos for a 10 spot ... that fit nicely under my other pair I bought from Oneills that I bought 5yrs ago
