Rear axle compatibility problems

I have a rear wheel with a QR hub. Is is possible to change the hub without getting a new wheel, as i want to fit a 12mm rear axle. Failing that, is a hope pro2 hub with a QR able to be changed, as i know that the front pro2 hubs are.
