    omg!!! i need some leenexe.

green is my favourite colour and that looks absolutly amazing 8)
i seriously love this bike a lot
  • Nice work with the green CK and XTR bits. Have Orange customized them for you or did you do them yourself? (specifically the cranks)

Any chance of getting a full spec up?

Not to pick fault or anything, but if your seatpost is that high, do you not feel it's a bit small for you?

Also, I notice that the full pic of the bike is from when it had Raceface cranks. Any chance of seeing it in all its current glory?

looks nice mate. how do you find the brakes in the wet???
  • It’s the largest frame they do, it’s a 20inch. I’m 6ft4in tall with a massive inside leg, but it is the best fitting bike I’ve ever had (no more back ache!). I ordered the Orange 5 with the brake upgrade and added the coloured parts and upgrages myself, i.e. green crank bolts, chris king BB, chris king headset, lizard skin grips and chris king hubs with green nipples etc etc... Picture of the full build is now attached.

    Full Spec:

I have the same on my marin and they perform great in all conditions (bit squeaky sometimes but hey)

Are you're pads contaminated or glazed?

Oh and nice bike mate....I'm green with envy
  • Sorry mate, but that looks a bit too blingy for my liking. Lovely spec and a great bike, but the colouring spoils it in my opinion!

give you're rotors a good clean with brake cleaner or iso alcohol while you're at it...

i dont have any brake cleaner. but will washing up liquid work as it can be used as a very mild deagreaser
  • How did you do the cranks green, they look spot on.

erm im not sure, i used to wash my bike including the rotors with washing up liquid and the pads got trashed, I cant say if it was the washing up that did it but I now use only water...

Any car accessories shop/garage should have some...if you put new pads in with a contaminated rotor it will knacker the new pads too...

Maybe stick a post in the tech help section and ask for advice on cleaning rotors?
