I went to a Tesco Extra today, and found the cycling department...
It was mostly quite low-quality stuff, but a few great bargains, like a beam rack for £8, and I picked up a pair of linked panniers with a rack bag on the top (very practical) for £12, and HR monitors, lights etc.

Sports direct do a small selection of cycling gear (lights, locks, clothes etc) and can be nearly 50% of RRP. Quality not excellent, more for the cyclicst on a budget, student perhaps.0
