Hehehe, just received my frame back from being tarted up a little. Sorry for the crap pics, had to use the sh1te camera on my iphone :(

It will be built up with:

3T Funda Team forks (in white)
3T Team ARX stem, Doric post and Rotundo bars
Prologo Scratch Nack
10 speed Campag Record (except cranks)
Rotor Agilis cranks
Chris King BB
Tune hubs on Schwarzbrenner carbon clinchers

(and now I have no money, negative money infact  , but I have a HHHUUUGGGEEE grin on my face  )

Roll on spring time. This baby is going to get some SERIOUS buffing over the winter

    Oh my...

This has the potential to be Bikeradar's nicest bike...
  • Thanks NapoleonD, I'm really only after one of your badges, but, not having a garage door I feel I may be lacking :(

This bike is going to look nice (imho of course) however the same can not be said about it's owner (looks/talent/ability etc).

All the gear, some idea, but no bleedin' ability is the phrase I like to use to describe myself.

It is most certainly not! Looking forward to seeing the build. 8)
It’s the most beautiful sport in the world but it’s governed by ***ts who have turned it into a crock of ****.

  • From Velotech Services. It's this years model, they had some HEAVILY discounted (minus rings) to make way for the 2010 Agilis.

Still, it's black and it's got a red spider. Nice 8)

It's slowly coming together, still waiting on my wheels, can't do any more until I get them :(

Anyhoo, here's a few more pics, including the ones of djbarren's anodising skills (seatpost clamp and red headset spacer).

PLEASE IGNORE SADDLE HEIGHT, it's only in there, to the minimum insertion line, as I don't want to risk scratching it putting it in too far before I can set the height properly

Pic of complete bike only when it's finished.

And you're correct, I don't have any wheels, hence the "I'm still waiting on my wheels......."

Apparantly it's very bad to do that. But I reckon it's fine, you've clamped it sensibly, very little deformation of the rubber.

It's not really clamped, more resting on the clamp.

    :D

A couple more, excuse the quality (lack of! ), I'm supposed to be decorating (hence the scaffolding plank you can see in the background - reaching to very bits at the top of the stairs), had to do them quickly whilst the wife popped out.

    Sweet.
Very nice attention to detail LL.

I particularly like the way you've already got the wireless computer in place, so as not to waste a single moment when the build is road-ready.

Looking forward to the final pics. Good luck.

Not really into the overused carbon/red/white thing but this is looking nice!

It's the little details I think.
