Have decided on Wellgo MG1's - Black or Grey though??

Hello all,

I trawled the forum, and have found a load of recommendations for the Wellgo MG1, and as they are a good price, and comparitively light, am planning to get a pair.

My Marin has a silver frame, with black forks, and cranks etc.

I am struggling between the Black or Grey - what do you reckon??

Oh and here is a pic of a bike similar to mine, mine now has carbon bars, Tora forks, carbon bar ends etc etc

depends how bling you is feelin'. Init.

black is the understated and grey / silver is the bit more bling. Init.

And bare in mind the finish won't last 7 and a half minutes on the MG1s so it won't matter after a bit anyway.

nah, we get them sent to different locations after the fifth housemate died...

They all end up silver anyway once the paint falls off, if they start out silver they don't look as scrappy once it happens (this isn't a criticism btw, most pedals have rubbish finish, it's a losing battle considering the abuse they get so Wellgo's approach makes sense- make it cheap, since it'll drop off anyway)

I thought so too!
Cheapest I could see elsewhere was around the £35 mark.

I found a load of new sets on ebay from a seller called Highonbikes, they had good feedback and are UK based, so I am inclined to believe they are legit - i did see some really cheap ones on there but they were from HK.

They have some that are buy it now, for around £30, and then they had a black pair and a grey pair on auctions - the black pair went for £21, and I bagged the grey ones for £24.

I think there is a black pair on there at the mo - jus search for Wellgo MG1.

Well looking good so far, I paid immediately at the end of the auction, like I always do, and they have just been shipped
