A while ago I had some DA bar end shifters and they came with two lengths of plastic gear cable covers, for covering the gear cables underneath the bar tape.

I need some more (for an ingenious new build idea...) - anyone know if you can buy them separately?

I've just started looking but I'm not even sure what to search on.

Or if anyone has some knocking about I'll have them off you for a few quid.... 8)

Those things are brilliant. They used to be supplied with Shimano brakes when they first changed to concealed cables, but obviously not anymore.

I was looking for some recently when I re-cabled both bikes but couldn't find any. I am sure Wiggle had them on their site within the last year or so. If anyone knows where to get them I hope they share the info.
  • tried SJS - the kind of thing they might have.

yep, SJS are good for odd bits but I couldn't find any on their site.

So far I've drawn a blank. I may have to track down a NOS full set of cables with the covers included.

Have you tried various LBS's? I'd expect this sort of thing to be knocking around a dusty workshop or two.
