Need to give the Mrs some idea what to get me for xmas.
Could do with something good to clean my chain. I have some purple stuff from halfords "Muc Off" seems to clean the frame ok.
Anyone recommend anything.

I use the only way that get the chain properly clean. All special products and tools cost the earth and don't seem to do a great job for me.
Get an empty plastic bottle (pref one with a big top), a washing softner bottle seems to work the best, half fill with white spirt, pop the chain in give it a good shake, leave it to rest, then another good shake. Take the chain out, us another similar bottle, fill with as hotter water as you dare so it does not deform the bottle and a dash of washing up liquid, shake and repeat with clean water minus the washing up liquid as this contains salts. Wipe down the whole chain with a rag or old towel. The next bit is key. Make sure the chain is bone dry, it'll sound all funny as there is no lube. To get it bone dry leave on top of the radiator or even pop it into the oven at say 100C for 5 mins, fit it again to the bike and lube it thoroughly.
Keep the white spirit in the bottle, and to clean it every so often just run it through a coffe filter paper to get out most of the cr@p.0
